So the main reason I asked Effy to participate in this article is the fact that I see so many models daily on twitter tweeting about their lack of sucess as a cam model and wondering why it is. Now, whilst we might not all be every guys cup of tea, there are SO many men on MFC and every single one of those men has their own type and I am big believe that ANY model can make it as a Cam Model when the work and effort is put into it.
I had had this conversation with Effy back in January of this year, after we had had a conversation about how hard she was finding it and she wanted to do better, after a breif conversation, I passed along my own thoughts and Effy vowed to give Camming her all, and give it her all she did.
So this article with evidence very graciously given from Effys own MFC account I am attempting to prove a point that, with enough hard work, hours and effort, any girl can make it as a Cam Model.

The Reality Of Hours
This is where we get a reality check... Being a successful cam model means HOURS. LONG HOURS. There is no logging on for an hour and expecting to make bank, that only happens to already established top models and even then, not that often. The fact is, most cam girls about kill themselves working the hours they do to gain the success they feel they want for themselves. Effy is an example of beginning that process and as you will see as we go on, it pays off..
As you can see from above (Info found on MyCamGirl.net, all models can get their info here) Effys previous months were very sporadic, without schedule and very much whenever she felt like it and as you can see from her Rankings (scroll down) it showed that success was far from reach, more importantly, it showed in her income.
Effy worked a total of 80.32hours throughout february which works out to 20 hours a week or 4 hours per day 6 days a week.. when you think about it, it doesn't seem that much, but when you have a family or another job as well, a boyfriend, friends, this can be SO draining, those who don't have children or other responsibilities should find this fairly simple to achieve. As you will read in Effys interview she found this incredibly draining mentally and physically to keep up with due to other life duties and forcing herself to log back on every day, sometimes a few times a day when tips were slow, please understand you are not going to log on and start getting constant tips immediately, it simply doesn't work this way.. So be prepared to give this your all, the more success you gain the LONGER hours will you have to work, the more days you have to log on and the more effort you have to put in.

Reaping Rank Rewards
As someone who usually finishes around 1300 in rank I can tell you that this is a GOOD rank, you are earning a GOOD living, to finish around this rank you are earning roughly 40,000 tokens a month/$2000 and don't ever feel bad about this rank because the larger number of MFC girls are finishing around 3500-6500, you are amongst the lucky 1500 girls to be earning a GOOD living.
Once you dip under 1000 you start to earn A LOT more, the gap between this space is roughly double, sometimes more depending on how well the top girls have done that month. The top 500 finishers are earning around 150,000 tokens a month/$7500. The top 250 (this is hard to guestimate but roughly) 250,000-300,000tokens per month/$12500 and so on.. The Top 20 Girls earn roughly $20000-$50000 a month.
In february Effy finished @ rank #848 and as you can see from her token count finish (see below) that is A LOT of tokens and she only had to work what I call ''part time'' as a model, so you can really see how WELL you can do if you REALLY put in the effort.. this was within Effys FIRST month, we are yet to see how well she will do if she continues with the same hours and effort.. The more hours and effort you put in, the more rewards you reap.

With hard work, comes reward!
Throughout February Effy worked her literal ass off and low and behold, you can see here, it REALLY pays off.
Now Effy had worked extra hours in January and found a few new prems as well as already having a couple of regular tippers, so if you don't already have those you are going to have to work harder for longer to reap the rewards but it WILL pay off!
If you are a NEW model and you work as hard, have the content, have read the New Model section and you are fully prepared with tip menus, content and the right gear, you should find success pretty easily!
To finish Rank #848 Effy had to earn 71433 tokens which equates to *drum roll* $3571/£2516 WHOAAA. Yes this is A LOT of money, you would never make this kind of bank in a regular every day joe job! This is how camming can change your life!
As you can see from the daily token amounts THERE IS NO REGULAR. You cannot predict what you will make from one day to the next, this is being a cam model, you can log on one day and make 9300 tokens and the next 79 tokens.
Effy stuck to the rule of thumb, if you haven't made any or many tokens in an hour, LOG OFF, come back later. Try again.
You can also see that Effy worked almost every day excepy two, this is how often you must work, SCHEDULE ladies, this is what keeps guys coming back and tokens rolling in!
PVT's are an excellent source of tokens if you are willing to do them, Effy charges a 200 token entrance fee, which I fully endorce and support, this means your time is not entirely wasted if the guy is a two mins jerk and spurt! Voyeur tokens also add to this!

My point is this; work the hours, provide the content, provide the entertainment, stick to the do's and don'ts, do the research and YOU WILL SUCCEED.
Effy has only just begun her path to success and look how well she is doing already! To back up this theory I will be adding my OWN Cam Story at a later date (keep an eye on the front page for this appearing).
